Bring all documents related to the transaction for which you have a concern
For example, for deceptive car sales bring in a copy of the Retail Installment Contract, brochures for the car, repair invoices, receipts, and
any notes you made. For a debt collector harassment case, organize all of the letters to or from the debt collectors.
Write a timeline of what happened and when. For example, when was the first time the debt collector called you? How did they identify
themselves? What did they say? How much did they say you owed? If the debt is for a credit card, when is the last time you recall
purchasing anything on the card or making a payment to the credit card company?
